Current Studies at Motherisk: Rheumatoid Arthritis & Arava in Pregnancy
Motherisk is also collaborating on a study to investigate the effects of Arava (Leflunomide) in pregnancy. Any woman treated for rheumatiod arthritis who has taken leflunomide or other medications and who is less than 20 weeks pregnant, may participate. Women will be interviewed by phone 2 to 3 times during the pregnancy and again after the delivery. Once the baby is born, he/she will be examined by a pediatrician.
